An elevator device is configured in such a manner that an upper air-deflecting cover is provided to the upper part of the car. The upper air-deflecting cover has a cover front face section which faces the hoistway wall on the landing side. The cover front face section is provided with an openable/closable landing-side inspection opening. An air pressure-adjusting device having an air blower and an air blowing duct is disposed within the upper air-deflecting cover. The air blower is disposed on the landing side above an upper beam. |
