PURPOSE:To obtain a solid-state relay device which has small power consumption by driving a photocoupler only in a period nearby a zero-cross point where a load current changes in polarity without driving the photocoupler in a period where switch operation is not affected. CONSTITUTION:This device has a 1st photocoupler Q1 which is constituted by providing a light emitting element 1 to an input-side circuit supplied with a switch control signal and a light receiving element 2 to an output-side circuit where a load is coupled. The coupler Q1 is driven and controlled according to whether or not there is a switch control signal to control the conduction state of a two-way switching element Q2, and the load is powered on and off according to the conduction state. Further, this device is provided with a photocoupler Q3 whose light emitting element 11 is connected in series with the light receiving element 2 of the coupler Q1 and a control means which receives a signal from the light receiving element 12 in a period wherein the photocoupler is driven, outputs a signal for a specific period from the end of the driving period, and inhibits the switch control signal from being supplied to the photocoupler Q1. |
