DOUBLE SCRUBBER APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING REVOLATILIZATION OF VOLATILITY RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCE

The present invention relates to a double scrubber apparatus for controlling revolatilization of a volatile radioactive substance which separates and collects a radionuclide in an aerosol form for generating gamma rays with high intensity such as cesium from iodine chemical species which can be oxidized, thereby fundamentally preventing a revolatilization phenomenon of the volatile radioactive substance. According to the present invention, the double scrubber apparatus for controlling revolatilization of a volatile radioactive substance comprises: a containment portion (100) in which a volatile radioactive substance is accommodated; a first scrubber (200) in which a first solution (A) is accommodated and which is connected to the containment portion (100) to receive the radioactive substance from the containment portion (100) and to allow the radioactive substance to react with the first solution (A); a second scrubber (300) in which a second solution (B) is accommodated and which is connected to the first scrubber (200) to receive a first reactant gas reacting with the first solution (A) from the first scrubber (200) and to allow the first reactant gas to react with the second solution (B); and a filter portion (400) which is connected to the second scrubber (300), in which the second reactant gas reacting with the second solution (B) is introduced and through which the second reactant gas reacting with the second solution (B) passes.
