The present invention relates to a device and a method to simulate the performance of a conformal antenna. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device to simulate the performance of a conformal antenna includes: an antenna shape input part receiving shape information of the antenna, and converting the shape information of the antenna into a triangle model; a radiator analyzing part simulating an electromagnetic wave property for a radiator of the antenna based on the antenna shape converted into the triangle model, and calculating a surface current, induced in the radiator of the antenna, by using the simulated electromagnetic wave property of the antenna; an antenna substrate analyzing part simulating the electromagnetic wave property of an antenna substrate based on the antenna shape, and calculating a surface current, induced in the substrate of the antenna, by using the simulated electromagnetic wave property of the antenna substrate; and a radiation pattern calculating part calculating a radiation pattern of the antenna by calculating a scattered wave from the surface currents, calculated by the antenna radiator analyzing part and the antenna substrate analyzing part. |
