According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for processing a digital image comprises the following steps: receiving a preview image; detecting a rectangular region from the preview image, and obtaining coordinate information corresponding to the rectangular region; determining a main rectangular region from at least one rectangular region detected from the preview image; photographing an image; and generating a conversion image by perspectively transforming the image by using the coordinate information corresponding to the main rectangular region.
