<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of images of an original which is obtained by reading the images by a plurality of image sensor arrays loaded on a carriage moving in a sub-scanning direction and connecting them. <P>SOLUTION: When the images of the original G read by CCD 11a and 11b are connected in a prescribed connection position and are set to be an image for one line while a carriage loading reduction optical means consisting of: the plurality of CCD 11a and 11b; mirrors 13a, 13b to 15a and 15b; and lenses 12 and 12b, a light source and the like is moved to a sub-scanning direction, the image reader 1 reads a position detection pattern member 4 where a position detection line showing the connection position is formed, and corrects the connection position of the images of the original G, which the CCD 11a and 11b read from the images of the position detection line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
