The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the control method of the present invention includes: overlapping and displaying at least one lattice point in a preview screen when a specific input is received; changing a position of the at least one lattice point when an input on the at least one lattice point is received; and photographing the preview screen, and measuring and displaying a length between the at least one lattice point included in the photographed preview screen when a request for photographing the preview screen is received. According to the present invention, a user can easily search a product that the user wants by providing the size of the product that the user wants and information on the size by using information on the length between the lattice points included in the photographed preview screen. |
