PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device configured to accurately set contact pressure between a blade tip and a peripheral surface of an image carrier.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 35 includes: a cleaning blade 70 having a base end 71 and a tip 72 to be brought into pressure contact with a peripheral surface 31C of a photoreceptor drum 31; a cleaner housing 60 having a blade support part 64 with a mounting surface 64S facing the peripheral surface 31C; a holder 80 to be mounted on the blade support part 64 so as to face the mounting surface 64S while holding the base end 71 of the cleaning blade; and an adjustment screw 91 for adjusting contact pressure between the tip 72 of the cleaning blade 70 and the peripheral surface 31C by adjusting a height where the holder 80 is mounted on the mounting surface 64S. A gap G is formed between the mounting surface 64S and the holder 80. |
