The present invention relates to a time zone setting method using location information of an electronic device and the electronic device supporting the same. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the time zone setting method of an electronic device comprises: a process of receiving an input of location information; a process of acquiring time zone information related to the inputted location information; a process of displaying the acquired time zone information; and a process of storing a schedule including the location information and the time zone information. Also, according to various embodiments of the present invention, the time zone setting method using the location information of the electronic device comprises: a process of receiving an input of time information; a process of determining whether the schedule related to the time information is stored; a process of acquiring the location information and the time zone information of the related schedule if the schedule related to the time information is stored; and a process of displaying the acquired location information and time zone information.
