<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture an excellent electrophoretic display device. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device 150 includes a display area 10 and an inspection area 60 provided outside the display area 10. The display area 10 includes a display cell 271. The inspection area 60 includes an inspection cell 276. The display cell 271 is filled with a first dispersion liquid containing first particles and second particles. The inspection cell 276 is filled with a second dispersion liquid containing at least the first particles. The first dispersion liquid and the second dispersion liquid are different with regard to a weight ratio of the first particles to a sum of a weight of the first particles and a weight of the second particles. Accordingly, various inspections and cause analyses can be performed using the inspection cell 276, and an excellent electrophoretic display device 150 can be economically and efficiently manufactured, and further product improvement and process reform can be promoted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
