A channel information feedback method disclosed by embodiments of the present invention includes: allocating the number of channel information feedback bits to each channel dynamically according to quality of the channel; determining size of a channel state information codebook of each channel according to the number of channel information feedback bits dynamically allocated to each channel, and generating a channel state information codebook; determining a feedback codeword in the channel state information codebook according to channel state information, where the feedback codeword is designed to feed back the channel state information; and sending a result of allocating the number of channel information feedback bits and sending an index number of the feedback codeword, where the index number is an identifier of the feedback codeword. Accordingly, an information processing method, a mobile station, a base station, and a MIMO system are disclosed by embodiments of the present invention. Through the foregoing technical solutions, different numbers of channel information feedback bits are allocated for different channels dynamically, and the feedback gain is made better use of. |
