摘要 The present invention relates to a boiler, producing a thermal medium at high pressure and high temperature by using liquid metal as an operating medium, and a power generation system using the same. According to the present invention, the boiler in which the operating medium is circulated for heat exchange with a thermal medium includes: a combustion furnace in which the operating medium is supplied and heated; a heat exchanging part connected to the combustion furnace, and to which the operating medium heated in the furnace is supplied; a thermal medium injecting part placed inside the heat exchanging part; and a supply part connected to the heat exchanging part, and supplying the thermal medium to the thermal medium injecting part. Heat is exchanged between the heated operating medium and the thermal medium, supplied from the heat exchanging part to the thermal medium injecting part, the heat exchange makes the thermal medium reach high temperature and high pressure, not less than a critical point, and the operating medium is liquid metal. According to the same, an influence, caused by damage to the thermal medium injecting part since the thermal medium injecting part or tube is directly heated, is prevented in order to significantly extend the lifespan of the thermal medium injecting part. Moreover, as heat is exchanged with the thermal medium by using the liquid metal, the thermal medium at high pressure and high temperature, not less than a critical point, is produced without any problem of the thermal medium injecting part, therefore, the efficiency of the power generation system using the same is improved.
