THE CHIP REMOVING DEVICE OF THE LATHE AND A METHOD USING THE AIR INTAKE

The present invention relates to a chip removing device for lathe processing using an air intake and a method thereof. The chip removing device for lathe processing includes: a body box (1) with a closed internal space; an air discharge tool (2) mounted on one lateral surface of the body box (1) and discharging air flowing inside the body box (1); a filtering member (3) formed on the front end of the air discharge tool (2), filtering flowing air, sending the filtered air to the air discharge tool (2); a connecting pipe (5) attached to a hollow spindle (10) of a lathe (16) and connecting the body box (1) and the hollow spindle (10); an intake guide plate (4) formed on an end of the connecting pipe (5) and guiding the air flowing to the inside of the body box (1) and chips in a predetermined direction; a connecting pipe (6) wherein the air discharged through the air discharge tool (2) flows; an air nozzle (7) injecting the air flowing inside the connecting pipe (6); and a transferring pipe (8) discharging the chips to the lower side of the lathe (16) using the air injected by the air nozzle (7). Accordingly, the chip removing device is capable of enhancing machining efficiency and machining precision.
