A lime protection stone (I) for the minimization of the formation of deposits, especially carbonate deposits in a dewatering system for a construction, contains at least one water-conditioning agent, optionally mixed with at least one carrier substance and/or binding agent as well as optionally a flow regulating agent, lubricant and/or preservative. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the production of the lime protection stone (I) by dry mixing of the water-conditioning agent with the carrier in powder form and/or binding agent in the desired quantity followed by pressing of the resulting dry mixture to form a molded article and; (2) a process to minimize the formation of deposits, especially limestone deposits in a dewatering system by addition of a water-conditioning agent to the mountain- or ground water to be drawn off in the form of the lime protection stone (I) with regard to the gradient in the dewatering system. |
