PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball individual position discrimination device capable of highly accurately identifying a position and a type of each of balls on a billiard table.SOLUTION: A ball individual position discrimination device includes: a position detection section for detecting a position of a ball on a billiard table, imaged in an image obtained from a camera which images the billiard table from above; and an individual identification section for individually identifying each ball of the position detected by the position detection section. The position detection section performs detection of circles included in an image of one frame configuring the image, and specifies circular regions within the image corresponding to the balls imaged in the image. The individual identification section identifies individually to which of the balls used in billiards the ball positioned in each circular region corresponds. |
