DISTRIBUTED ESS BASED DEMAND RESPONSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MANAGEMENT OF PEAK-POWER

A demand response service management system based on a distributed energy storage system (ESS) capable of managing power peaks is disclosed. The demand response service management system based on a distributed ESS according to the present invention comprises: a demand response management server which classifies receptors into at least one group, and provides a demand response management service to each of the grouped receptors based on demand response information; a master energy management gateway (EMG) which manages power consumption amounts of each of the grouped receptors according to the demand response information and provides control information such that discharge amounts for discharge periods of the ESS are controlled for each of the receptors; and a slave EMG which sets discharge information for discharge periods including a peak power use time range of the ESS provided in each of the receptors according to the control information, and adjusts the discharge amounts for time periods of each of the ESS according to the discharge amount information. According to the present invention, the demand response management service can be optimized and the ESS in each of the receptors can be effectively operated.
