The present invention relates to a fixing pin for mulching films, and more specifically, to a biodegradable fixing pin for mulching films which is produced by using a biodegradable composition naturally degraded in the soil to require no collection after use and thus reduce labor force and time, and is converted to an organic fertilizer when degraded to improve fertility of soil, and a method of producing the same. Accordingly, the present invention provides a biodegradable fixing pin for mulching films which includes a flange which has a rectangular shape and a pig which extends from opposite ends of the flange and includes, on the bottom thereof, a protrusion having a wide top and a narrow bottom for insertion into and fixing at the soil, wherein the flange and the pig are produced using a biodegradable composition naturally degraded in the soil, and a method of producing the same.
