The present invention provides a power supply apparatus of a motor operated steering apparatus. The power supply apparatus of the motor operated steering apparatus comprises: a regulator; a power switch; a control area network (CAN) communication part; and a switching part. The regulator receives the input of battery power to stably supply voltage to an integrated control part. The power switch controls the battery power input into the regulator. The CAN communication part accesses a CAN network to monitor a wake-up signal in the CAN network, outputs the monitored wake-up signal to the switching part, and transmits/receives data of the integrated control part to the CAN network. The switching part is operated with respect to at least one of a turn-on signal of the integrated control part and the wake-up signal of the CAN communication part to drive the power switch. According to the present invention, lightening the weight of the motor operated steering apparatus can be achieved, and the number of parts thereof can be reduced, thereby reducing prime costs. |
