The present invention provides a loading method and a loading apparatus for a map label. The loading method for a map label comprises: a step of searching for a point of interest newly added to a currently visible area on a map after magnification with respect to the map before magnification in response to a map magnification command; a step of handing a label of an original point of interest of the map before magnification in the currently visible area; and a step of performing collision detection and loading on the label of the newly added point of interest. The present invention can greatly improve visual experience of a user when loading a map in comparison to a conventional technique.
