A package for tobacco related articles comprising at least a first compartment (11) and a second compartment (12) is provided. The at least first compartment and second compartment are coupled to each other and the compartments are slidable with respect to each other between the first position and the second position. In the first position of the compartments at least an access opening of the first compartment is accessible and in the second position of the compartments, at least the access opening of the first compartment is inaccessible.
