An audio video navigation (AVN) device comprises: a broadcast receiving unit for receiving a terrestrial broadcast signal; a communication unit for receiving a data broadcast signal through a network; and an output unit for outputting a signal based on at least one of the terrestrial broadcast signal and the data broadcast signal in accordance with whether a zone hardly receives the terrestrial broadcast signal. Therefore, the AVN device enables a user to watch a broadcast even in a zone where it is difficult to receive a terrestrial broadcast signal.
