Disclosed are a system for providing a traffic signal waiting time for a pedestrian and a control method thereof. That is, the present invention calculates a signal waiting time of one or more traffic lights located around a terminal based on reference time information and signal change period information related to the traffic light located around the terminal, which is provided from a server, by corresponding to a current position information of the terminal, and displays the calculated traffic signal waiting time, thereby enhancing convenience and satisfaction of the pedestrian, reducing costs, and improving operation efficiency of an entire system. |
