The present invention relates to an etching method which provides a pattern to a rectangular metal frame for a mobile phone made of various metals, by the etching method using a photolithography process. The method for etching a rectangular metal frame for a mobile phone of the present invention comprises: a step (S1) of manufacturing a mask film; a step (S2) of coating a photo resist on the rectangular metal frame; a step (S3) of attaching a mask film on the photo resist of four surfaces of the rectangular metal frame; a step (S4) of exposing the photo resist on the surface of the rectangular metal frame to an ultraviolet ray by the mask film; a step (S5) of peeling off the mask film from the photo resist of the four surfaces of the rectangular metal frame; a step (S6) of developing the photo resist; a step (S7) of washing and drying; a step (S8) of etching; and a step (S9) of delaminating. |
