AUTO INSPECTION DEVICE FOR A WHEEL ABRASION USING TILTING UNIT AND ANGLE SENSOR

The present invention provides an automatic inspection device for a wheel abrasion, using a tilting unit and an angle sensor. The automatic inspection device for a wheel abrasion automatically detects damage such as an uneven abrasion or detachment of a wheel tread unit, which occurs by a braking force while a railroad vehicle is driving, so that an inspection work related to abnormality for the railroad vehicle is easily performed. The automatic inspection device for a wheel abrasion detects and measures the tilting angle by contact with a vehicle wheel to improve detection accuracy and efficiently detects the abnormality for the wheel tread unit. The automatic inspection device for a wheel abrasion includes: a vehicle detection unit recognizing a license number while detecting approach of the railroad vehicle; a driving rail extended lengthwise in an approach direction of the railroad vehicle and enabling the railroad vehicle to run since the tread unit of the wheel is in contact with the driving rail; an abrasion detection unit comprising a tilting unit including the tilting rail to move in vertical directions by being in contact with a flange unit on the wheel, and the angle sensor detecting a vertical movement angle of the tilting rail by being located on one side of the tilting unit, wherein the abrasion detection unit is located on one side of the driving rail; a detachment detection unit photographing an image of the wheel to check the occurrence of the wheel after detecting the tread unit of the wheel which came onto the tilting rail of the tilting unit; and a detection processing unit individually converting a detection signal by the angle sensor of the abrasion detection and an image signal of the detachment detection unit into digital signals and outputting and controlling an abrasion level and the abnormality of the detachment by using digital data.
