The present invention provides an organic emitting diode display device which can prevent the generation of a stain due to compensation shortage by differently applying a compensation range in accordance with the stress characteristic of a deriving TFT, and a method for driving the same. The organic emitting diode display device and the method for driving the same calculate a negative stress margin which has a different size depending on the characteristic of a stress accumulated in each sub pixel as a driving time passes, and defiantly supply the initialization voltage of the each sub pixel depending on the size of the calculated negative stress margin. |
