A method for the manufacture of capsules comprises the following steps: a) preparation of capsule elements (10, 20) formed from thermoplastic film, at least one element (10) comprising a cavity (101), each element (10, 20) being provided with a peripheral ring (102, 202), b) the bringing-together of the elements so that the rings (102, 202) become superposed, c) placement for placing the set of the two elements (10, 20) between a sonotrode (62) and an anvil (61) comprising a striking surface (611) surrounding an anvil recess (610), the sonotrode (62) comprising a working surface (621) surrounding a sonotrode recess (620), the striking and working surfaces (611, 621) being designed to come into contact with one another over a working zone of width (l) of between 0.05 and 1 mm; d) welding by operating the sonotrode (62) using ultrasound aimed toward the anvil (61). |
