The present invention provides a producing method of 5-acetoxymethyl furfural comprising a step of synthesizing 5-acetoxymethyl furfural by conducting reaction of a compound comprising at least one selected from fructose and glucose and an acetyl functional group with microwave irradiation. The producing method of 5-acetoxymethyl furfural can use a biomass-derived material as a raw material for reaction, has a simple producing process, short reaction time, a high reaction yield, and low and economic cost of the process, by direct synthesis through dehydration reaction under microwave irradiation.
