The present invention relates to a device for varying a ground connection state of a wheelchair to correspond to an uneven part of the ground. A variable wheel device for a wheelchair includes: a driving wheel (10) including multiple elastic bodies (11) divided into a circular arc shape and installed in a wheelchair, and permitting displacement of an auxiliary shaft (25) on both ends of the elastic bodies; and a variable unit (30) including a shock absorbing device (35) towards the each auxiliary shaft (25) based on a center body (31) installed on a rotation shaft of the driving wheel (10). So, the variable wheel device for a wheelchair minimizes inconvenience of a movement and prevents an accident such as an injury of a human body since a structure of the variable wheel device for a wheelchair is transformed in order for the wheelchair to easily pass through stairs or protrusions by absorbing impact during the movement.
