PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle housing capable of efficiently and properly suppressing acoustic oscillation due to a differential gear without causing failure such as increase in entire weight as much as possible.SOLUTION: An axle housing A includes: a pair of left and right shaft tube parts 2 connected to both sides of a housing center part 1 for accommodating a differential gear integrally or separately, and extending in a vehicle width direction; and an upper bracket 3 mounted on each of the shaft tube parts 2 and for connecting an upper control rod 7A. Out of each of the shaft tube parts 2, an object portion for mounting the upper bracket 3 is formed as a raised part 22 which is raised more upwardly than other portion of each of the shaft tube parts 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
