The present disclosure relates to an electronic device and a method for managing re-registration. According to the present invention, the method for managing re-registration of an electronic device can comprise the steps of: storing data required for re-registration so as to manage the electronic device; reading out the stored data corresponding to either an initialization of the electronic device or a deletion of a pre-stored management agent; requesting information required for an authentication by using the readout data; and receiving the information, which is required for an authentication received in correspondence to the request, and/or a management agent installation file.
