According to one embodiment of the present art, a bulb-type light source device is provided with a light source unit, a translucent cover, and a base unit. The translucent cover includes a first region having convex lens functions, and a second region having concave lens functions. The base unit supports the light source unit and the translucent cover such that the second region is disposed at a position closer to the light source unit than the first region.
