摘要 The invention relates to a method for measuring the power of energy radiation, which method is suitable for continuously measuring energy radiation, such as laser radiation, of high power with high accuracy. For this purpose, the energy radiation is absorbed by an absorber. The absorber is cooled by means of a coolant. The coolant is heated by means of at least one heating element, wherein the coolant flows through the heating element and the absorber in succession. A first signal is generated in accordance with a first temperature of the coolant at a position before the heating element and the absorber in the flow direction of the coolant. A second signal is generated in accordance with a second temperature of the coolant at a position between the heating element and the absorber. A third signal is generated in accordance with a third temperature of the coolant at a position after the heating element and the absorber in the flow direction of the coolant. A first difference signal between the second signal and the first signal is captured, and a second difference signal between the third signal and the second signal is captured. A heating power of the heating element is captured. Furthermore, the power of the energy radiation is calculated by using the captured difference signals and the heating power of the heating element. The invention further relates to a device for measuring the power of energy radiation.
