System for reversible contraceptive sterilization It is proposed to provide an implantable tube valve for implanting in a human vessel, in particular, the fallopian tube. The implantable tube valve comprises: an implantable tube (110) having an inner tube wall (111) extending between two axial tube ends and comprising a mount inside the tube; and a valve member (120) mounted in said mount and pivotable between an open position and a closed position; wherein the valve member (120) comprises a sealing edge (116) contacting, the inner tube wall (111), when pivoted in the closed position, the valve member (120) thereby closing off passage through the implantable tube; the valve member (120) further comprising an outer face (114) conformal to the inner tube wall (111); and an inner face (115) conformal to the outer face thereby providing unobstructed passage through the implantable tube, when pivoted in the open position. |
