PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of attaining downsizing while surely pressing an electrochemical cell.SOLUTION: Each of a pair of holding side plates 31 is curved in such a manner that a central part in an opposite direction is expanded toward one side in the opposite direction relatively to both ends in the opposite direction. A first case side plate 41A and a second case side plate 41B are curved in such a manner that the central part in the opposite direction is expanded toward one side in the opposite direction relatively to both the ends in the opposite direction with a curvature radius that is greater than a curvature radius of each of the pair of holding side plates 31. When an electrochemical cell 2 is held by a holding plate 3, the electrochemical cell 2 is curved along the pair of holding side plates 31. When the holding plate 3 in such a state is accommodated in a case 4, the pair of holding side plates 31 are further curved along the case 4. As a result, a side surface of a cell 10 of the electrochemical cell 2 at one side in the opposite direction receives a pressing force F from a first holding side plate 31A of the holding plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
