PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a printed matter from being discharged in a method that a user does not intend.SOLUTION: When a printing job is executed and a sheet bundle Sb is discharged to a saddle tray 412, it is informed that a through mode is set as a loading mode of an image forming apparatus in such a case, and a confirmation display screen for confirming whether a collection box 502 for collecting the sheet bundle Sb is installed is displayed.
