PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for production of a resin molding which enable low-cost production of a resin molding based on molding a thermoplastic resin tabular material by bending.SOLUTION: A die 20 for bending is arranged so as to hold a thermoplastic resin tabular material 110 at a specified position. A heater 70 heats the die 20 for bending so as to contact-heat the thermoplastic resin tabular material 110 held in the die 20 for bending through the die 20 for bending. A flexible sheet 30 presses the thermoplastic resin tabular material 110 softened by the heater 70 toward the die 20 for bending to bend to a specified shape. The heater 70 includes a contact heating mechanism which brings the flexible sheet 30 that is a contact heating member, into contact with a non-contact region 110a and heats the flexible sheet 30 when the die 20 for bending is contact-heating the thermoplastic resin tabular material 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
