A medicinal agent includes alloferon peptides or biologically-active alloferon peptide complexes with transition metals and pharmaceutical compositions thereof in an effective amount. The active component of the alloferon group is represented by the formula: X1-His-Gly-X2-His-Gly-Val-X3, where X1 is absent or contains at least one amino acid, X2 contains at least 1 amino acid or consists of a peptide bond, and X3 contains at least one amino acid or is absent.
