This image pickup device is provided with a plurality of observation units 100A and 100B for observing an object 10 from different directions, and an image processing unit 200. Each of the observation units 100A and 100B is provided with an objective lens 111, a lens array 115, and an image pickup element 116, receives light by means of the image pickup element 116 via the objective lens 111 and the lens array 115, said light having been modulated by means of the object 10, and outputs a plurality of image signals having phase differences, and the image processing unit 200 measures the shape of the object 10 as relative distances from a reference point on the basis of the image signals outputted from the observation units 100A and 100B. |
