A shunt resistor has, in at least one part, a resistive element (23) for which the resistance value is preset, bridges two electrodes (200a, 200b), and detects a current value for a current flowing between the electrodes by detecting a voltage drop in the resistive element. Furthermore, this shunt resistor is provided with: a pair of connecting parts (10a, 10b) affixed and electrically connected to each of these electrodes via a conductive adhesive (300); a bridging part (20) that extends from one connecting part to the other connecting part and bridges the connecting parts; and a pair of bonding wires (30) for detecting the voltage drop in the resistive element. The two bonding wires are pulled in the same direction parallel to the direction of extension of the bridging part. |
