The present invention relates to the technical field of display. Provided are an over drive (OD) method, circuit and display device, solving the technical problem of unequal luminance of a left eye image and a right eye image in the prior art. The OD method comprises: acquiring a grayscale value of a current frame (S1); determining whether the current frame is a left eye image or a right eye image (S2); if the current frame is a left eye image, querying a first OD table to obtain an over drive grayscale value according to the grayscale value of the current frame and the grayscale value of the previous frame (S3); and if the current frame is a right eye image, querying a second OD table to obtain an over drive grayscale value according to the grayscale value of the current frame and the grayscale value of the previous frame (S4).
