MODIFIED WET TIP ANTENNA DESIGN A microwave antenna comprises a feedline (20), which includes a coaxial cable (16), and an inflow tube (55) disposed around the coaxial cable (16). A radiating section (18) is coupled to the feedline (20) and includes a dielectric transition collar (53). The dielectric transition collar (53) has at least one slot fluidly coupling the inflow tube (55) to a distal end of the radiating section (18).
