A set-top box, a method for controlling an IoT device using the same, and a computer program are provided. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the set-top box comprises: a processor; and a memory connected to the processor, wherein the memory is woken up in a standby mode so as to determine whether one or more devices are connected thereto, executes a component corresponding to one or more devices connected in a standby mode state when one or more devices are connected thereto, and stores program commands capable of being executed by the processor, so as to perform a control command corresponding to a received control signal in the standby mode state when the control signal is received from a remote control or one or more connected devices.
