The present invention relates to a non real-time service providing method and a mobile broadcast receiver. According to the present invention, an embodiment of the non real-time service providing method includes: a step of receiving a file configuring a non real-time service, first signaling information, and second signaling information as an IP packet in one ensemble; a step of composing and displaying a service guide using the first signaling information obtained from the ensemble; a step of obtaining first identification information for a content selected in the displayed service guide; a step of accessing a flute session using the second signaling information obtained from the ensemble and obtaining second content identification information matched to the first content identification information from the accessed flute session; and a step of receiving and storing at least one file composing the content based on the obtained second content identification information. According to the present invention, a transmission terminal can: include signaling information to properly recognize, receive, and process an NRT service provided by the receiver; receive and process received NRT services using the transmitted signaling information and provide the services for users; and compose a service guide using the transmitted signaling information and provide the guide for users. The receiver can accurately receive and process selected content from the composed service guide using the signaling information.
