Provided is a sodium-sulfur battery. According to the present invention, the sodium-sulfur battery uses sodium (Na) as a negative electrode active material, and uses sulfur (S) as a positive electrode active material. In addition, the sodium-sulfur battery comprises: a cartridge tube which carries sodium (Na) as a negative electrode active material, and has a sodium discharge hole for discharging the sodium melted in a lower portion; a solid electrolyte tube which accommodates the cartridge tube, separates a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and passes sodium ions; a positive electrode container which accommodates the solid electrolyte tube and sulfur as a positive electrode active material; and a sodium flow amount restriction unit for restricting the sodium flow amount supplied to a damaged area of the solid electrolyte tube in order not to generate a large amount of heat, when the solid electrolyte tube is damaged.
