The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for measuring a fish body of natatorial fish species using a laser beam and, more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for measuring the length and the size of a fish body by taking a picture of a pattern projected onto the fish body with the fish body using a high-brightness laser beam and an image camera, and measuring the size and the weight of the target fish by referring to a database for information about the weight against the size of the fish with respect to the existing same fish species obtained from the measurement.
