FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: monocrystalline fluoride material SrMgFis obtained, the material being capable of converting laser radiation into VUV/UV radiation with a wavelength of 0.122-11.8 mcm with a nonlinearity factor for the monoclinic phase of d=0.044 pm/V and characterised by the presence of a ferroelastic phase transition at 480 K. An optical-quality monocrystalline material SrMgFis grown using a Bridgman method from molten SrMgF, having a melting point of 1173 K, in a vertical two-zone furnace at a temperature of 1470 K and 970 K in the furnace zones with a temperature gradient in the growth region of 10-20 K/cm, rate of lowering the ampoule of about 1 mm/day and cooling in a switched-off furnace mode, followed by annealing the crystal.EFFECT: invention enables to create periodic structures on which quasi-phase synchronism is possible, which improves the efficiency of converting laser radiation even with low crystal nonlinearity parameters.2 cl, 2 dwg |
