PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift range switching device which achieves downsizing without exerting influences of abrasion powder of a gear mechanism and grease on a motor.SOLUTION: A housing 12 includes: a motor housing part 24; and a gear housing part 26. The motor housing part includes: a division wall 30 in which a motor chamber 32 for housing a motor is formed on an inner surface side; and a motor side cover member 28 which closes an opening of the motor chamber. The gear housing part includes: a peripheral side wall 68 fixed to an outer surface side of the division wall in a fluid-tight manner; a closing wall 60 which closes an opening of the peripheral side wall; and a gear chamber 70 formed between the division wall and the closing wall which rotatably support an output shaft and configured to house at least intermediate gears 100, 102 and a final gear 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
