PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately materialize a sequence timer in a digital protection control device.SOLUTION: The digital protection control device of the embodiment includes: an electric quantity input unit for receiving, as input, an electric quantity from a protection control object and converting the electric quantity into a digital signal; and a setting unit for storing a setting value as a time limit for a sequence timer for protecting the protection control object. The digital protection control device performs timer processing for a sequence signal by using a timer setting value stored in the setting unit and further includes: a frequency determination unit for determining a system frequency of the protection control object, on the basis of the digital signal converted by the electric quantity input unit; and a count value generation processing unit for generating, on the basis of a result of the determination by the frequency determination unit, a count value for materializing the setting value by using a count value generation reference for the sequence timer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
