PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can reduce printing deviation even with a heated recording medium.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 having a print unit 2 performing printing to continuous form paper WP to be conveyed comprises: a drive roller 15 which conveys the continuous form paper WP; a conveyance speed detection part 32 which detects the conveyance speed of the continuous form paper WP; an encoder 8 which is installed on a conveyance roller 10 to generate a timing reference signal of printing performed by the print unit 2 on the basis of conveyance of the continuous form paper WP; a print correction data generation part 33 which generates print correction data in accordance with chronological change of the conveyance roller 10 on which the encoder 8 is installed on the basis of the conveyance speed and the timing reference signal; and an offset correction part 52 which performs print correction processing of an inkjet print part 2 with respect to the continuous form paper WP on the basis of the print correction data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
