PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can suppress image quality degradation of a sheet and contamination in the apparatus by controlling suction force in accordance with the state of the sheet conveyed on a conveyor belt.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer which forms an image on a sheet P by discharging ink in accordance with image data of each page to the sheet P conveyed on a conveyance path comprises: conveyance means which conveys the sheet P by making the sheet P suctioned to the upper surface of a conveyor belt 133 sliding along the conveyance path; a printing condition detection part which detects the printing condition of an image; and a suction control part which calculates the ratio of the sheet P to the suction area of the conveyor belt surface on the basis of the printing condition detected by the printing condition detection part and controls the conveyance means to control the suction force in accordance with the calculation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
